Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation…
Well today I am very proud of my accomplishment!
I have suffered from depression, anxiety, and severe OCD for many many years. I’ve been on lots of different medications that have side effects and don’t work after a while for me. So, I did some research on TMS Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and decided I wanted to give it a try.
For the past 7 weeks, 5 days a week, I’ve been driving myself back and forth to Worcester for this treatment. I’ve had no side effects and I’m not sedated.
It takes a total of probably an hour for the treatment, because I also had the one for anxiety. I have completed all my treatments, which took about 2 hours total of my day with the drive and treatment.
Now I will be working with my medication Dr with taking some meds away and hopefully I still feel good as I do now.
For some people it works permanently, for some a short time, and for others, unfortunately, not at all. All I can do is hope and pray it worked. If not at least I can say I gave it a good try.
If your suffering from depression, take a minute and look up TMS THERAPY.
My doctor also mentioned me doing this, and I trust her. So I knew with all the research( being OCD LOL), and her approving of me trying it, I knew I had to.
I don’t believe it will help with OCD, but I’ll take the other things it helps!
I always say if telling my story can help 1 person I did a good thing!!!!!
